Picking Dandelions

While R was at school Kb and Kg got to spend some time in the front yard. They had so much fun picking dandelions from the neighbors front yard. They were so sweet picking them and sharing them with each other.

Rainy Days

How can we have a couple nice warm weather days and then a weekend of rain?!?!?! Just.Not.Fair!! We still had some fun(and some hair pulling moments of stress due to kids with cabin fever. We did get to wish our friend A a happy 1st birthday and, Mommy and Daddy got an evening out!!
Saturday Kg had swim with mommy, Kb spent some alone time with Daddy and R went to the local garden store to plant May Flowers with Grandma! Here are some pictures of the fun R and Grandma had....

Happy Earth Day

We are thankful we were given nice weather to enjoy Earth Day today!!! We did squeeze a fun craft in today(thanks to Kristie for posting it on RFC:). The kids had a lot of fun squeezing the water and watching the colors run! R coloring her cofee filter...caught off guard!

Letter I

I is for...unImaginative mommy Ice cream! We have slacked on making the letter I. Really, I have had a hard time thinking of a good idea. R asked me last week if we could just skip to the letter Y since I was dragging my feet. Well, we went with brown paper for our cone and white paint for our ice cream. We would have added glitter sprinkles, but it was the first gorgeous day all week and the kids just wanted to get out to play! Kb and Kg...we made these while R was at school

Kg loved sponge painting! I don't have anymore pictures. Two 2yr olds with sponges and paint meant I had to supervise closely:)

Craft Closet

I posted a few months ago that our craft closet needed serious help! I was given some great tips, thank you everyone! I feel like I am finally getting somewhere with it...still a ways to go though. Once a coat closet... In January...a mess!

In March a mess with a great over the door organizer(found for $4 at Target:)...

In April...somewhat organized! I really need some more plastic containers. I thought I had enough to get rid of the metal file drawers...sadly, no. Off to the local hardware store again this week to finish our organization shopping!

I was given so many great tips last time I asked! If anyone has any other great tips, please share:)

Tissue Paper Flower

R asked if we could make more tissue paper eggs again today. I said flowers are good for spring and egg crafts are done for a while! We made flowers that involved tissue paper, she is loving glitter glue and tissue paper these days! She even used a pencil to put veins on the stem of the flower...great thinking on her part:) Next...Crysanthemums! A tribute to Crysanthemum (and a favorite craft of mine since my cooperating teacher showed me how to make them...my fourth grade class made these every year to hang in the halls)!

A Visit With Little A and Little C

Our friends A and C came to visit this weekend(their parents came too:)! It was so nice to see them all, I just wish I had taken more pictures...

Spring Break

I asked R what she wanted to do during her week off of school. She told me she wanted to stay home. She is going and going so much that she just wanted to relax and not go anywhere...so we did just that(with a little traveling for some fun around town)! Here is our week...

A Trip To The Zoo

It was a great day! We couldn't have asked for nicer weather and the kids were great! I will say that Grandma and I did miss the Naples Zoo, it was so natural and pretty there! I also just looked at Addyson's trip to the San Diego Zoo today and I am jealous of her zoo experience!
