Twins

These two can get along so well and also fight so awful.  They have a unique bond knowone else will ever understand unless you are a twin yourself.  I hope they grow up and stay close....

Twin Fun

R was off at her First Communion retreat.  It was actually not raining and warm enough to go outside!
Conversation with the kids...
Kb - "can we ride scooters out front"
Me - "sure, just put on hats because it isn't that warm out and I don't want you getting cold"
Both kids grab coats, shoes and hats.  Then I see Kg's hat choice, fashion over warmth already at six!

Kg's Thought for today...

Kg is a funny girl.  The other day the kids were cleaning the playhouse.  Kg very seriously says while sweeping, "I feel just like Cinderella because she had to do all the work".  Ha ha, Kg...life is so rough!

Naples Vacation - March 2013

I tried to pick only a few of the 200+ pictures I took on vacation.  I had a hard time limiting myself so this is a little long...

Airport-ready to go!!!
R was so excited to see Papa, we hadn't seen him in almost three months!
The pelican was sitting next to the pier. I think we wanted some fish guts, which we didn't have.  We tried giving him a piece of blueberry bagel, but he wasn't impressed!
Papa was drilling holes in some of our found shells to make necklaces..

The geckos were everywhere!  Above the kids caught their first one of the trip by the pool.  The gecko dropped his tail and took off...we learned something new about geckos!

Poor Kb:(  Easter was a long day for him.  An afternoon boat ride, fresh air and sunshine put him to sleep.  Dh is a goof;)...
Getting ready to go, the tide was in!
Even in Florida we have an Easter egg hunt!
R looks like she knows how to enjoy a boat ride:)...
More egg hunt!  My pictures are not in a good order!
Beach!  We went to many...Kewaydin Island(a few times), Delnor Wiggins, Clam Pass, South Beach in Naples...

Easter Dinner in Grandma & Papa's four season room!  We had Easter dinner with Grandma, Papa, Uncle Rich, Aunt Eileen and three of Grandma & Papa's neighbors.  It was a very nice dinner!
 egg hunt again...

 Ahh, fishing in the gulf...
 I love this picture!

R is a boat driving natural.  Look out in a eight years she will be driving a car!

Naples Pier is so scenic.  The pelicans were diving in the water catching fish, dolphins were swimming around catching fish too.  Just a gorgeous night!

Marco Island Farmer's Market.  The kids love it and look forward to going!
We have a favorite park in Marco Island.  It has a really nice splash pad there that we enjoyed!

Kb helped Papa clean the boat. After our final boating adventure Papa and a couple friends pulled it out of the water for the season.

Cuties!
Amazing food!  Picture a not so fancy looking restaurant that is really not near anything else.  You pull in and the parking lot is full of BMW, Volvo type cars.  Walk in to a small size restaurant with laminated place mats/menus.  They served 'sweet tea', which was the favorite drink of our three kids so they were happy.  Then the food came-best fried chicken ever!!  I took a picture to send to dh because he was back home already when we went here.  I told him he missed out, he would have LOVED this place.  We will be back!
 many, many pool visits...

 Tin City...
We saw a bear!  One morning a large(he looks small from this angle, but he wasn't small!) bear walking across the back yard.  The kids got so excited they ran out to stand on the deck(versus running in to hide like we should have done!).  Kg said, "wow, we got to see a bear in his natural habitat".  Yep, Naples Florida is the natural habitat for bears...how is she going to handle our next vacation to Yellowstone;)...
We love love love the Naples beaches...

To much beach time for Kb....
Love a restauant that gives the kids pizza dough to entertain themselves!

In five visits to Naples/Marco this was the first time we had a full day of rain!  We went to Fort Myers to the Imaginarium.  The kids had a blast!
 Petting sting rays..

 digging for dinosaur bones...
Grandma snapped a picture of Papa, the kids and me(above)
there was a room of games to play with pool balls.  Very creative games!
Goodbye Florida:(  Our final sunset of the vacation from Grandma & Papa's yard...
We had a fantastic vacation!  It is hard to believe Dh was there five days and the kids and I were there ten days.  Seriously, the days flew by.  I think we could have spent another week and not have been bored.  Between the beaches, pool, riding bikes, driving the golf cart and afternoons out on the water we were very spoiled with great weather and great fun!  Thank you Grandma & Papa for letting us stay with you, we love your Florida Home!!!
