To Cool For School...

It was to cold for school Monday and Tuesday here!  H came over and hung out with us both days and we had a lot of fun.  Between throwing boiling water in the air, watching bubbles freeze, freezing food colored water balloons, crafting, nerf gun shooting, train track building, singing & dancing and all around playing with toys I was out of ideas for Wednesday and needed school!  Our days in a few pictures….

H's golden birthday was Monday!  He had a party Saturday, here is a picture from his party...

Some of our frozen water balloons...

I'm happy to see Kg gave her girl a matching swim top and bottom, but I'm wondering where she learned about belly button piercings?  I will need to chat with her about this...

I LOVE these kits!  We gave R one for her birthday a couple years ago.  She learned all about Van Gogh's Starry Night in art class in 1st grade.  She was obsessed with it so when I saw the art kit I knew it was the perfect gift.  Well, she loved it too!  We saw more kits before Christmas and put it on our list for Grandma & Grandpa H to give the kids.  They made them Tuesday.  I also had R's first kit with the supplies so H made that one.  I wish I would have snapped a pic of his before he took it home.

The boys are making their The Starry Nights!  R is making those scratch papers, Kg is crafting too...

We framed the pictures and hung them on the staircase...

Kb's version of The Starry Night (van Gogh)

R's version of Sunflowers (van Gogh)

Kg's version of Water Lilies (Monet)

We had a fun cold weather break from school, but spring can come any day now(at least mom thinks so)!
