Happy Birthday R!

R had a great birthday!  

Presents from her brother and sister this morning...

R learned about Starry Night/Vincent van Gogh in art class at school and since has been infatuated.  This present was a HUGE hit!!

Dance Recital Rehearsal

The girls looked absolutely beautiful at their rehearsal last Sunday!  We are looking forward to the show R and Kg!!

Rainforest Cafe

It's hard to believe, but we have never been to the Rainforest Cafe restaurant!  We had to make a trip to Gurnee to pick up R's birthday present(which will be revealed tomorrow:) and thought we would have lunch here.  Great atmosphere and very lively!  

Kb & Kg Graduate from Safety Town

Pool Party with Friends

Last weekend we had a pool party with some friends.  It was so nice to get all the kids together and have a relaxing afternoon!  A few cute pictures...

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my dad, father in law, husband, brother and brother in laws who are all wonderful fathers!

R's Softball Game

R was a trooper this week!  Her softball game started out with a nice breeze and good weather.  About half way through the game it started raining and then the downpour came!  R and her team kept playing through the rain and finished the game.  A few pre-rain pictures...

Kg's First Lost Tooth!

Kg lost her first tooth!  It was wiggling for a week and when she let me take a closer look I pulled it forward and it popped right out.  She was so surprised it didn't hurt(her fear of it hurting is the reason it was hanging in there for the last few days!).  Her one tooth missing smile:)...

She put out her Tooth Fairy pillow...

 and the Tooth Fairy brought her a present!  Here, the tooth fairy brings a present for your first lost tooth and then quarters for each tooth after that.  The Tooth Fairy left Kg a basket for her new bike, cupcake lip gloss and Jelly Belly nail polish!

Kg's First Horse Riding Lesson

Kg has been asking for the past year to take horse ridings lessons.  Persistence paid off today and she had her first lesson....

 She LOVED it!!!  We will definitely be back

R's First Softball Game of the Year

R was so excited for her first game of the year! 

 She played hard and hit the ball every time she was up to bat(coach pitch, no tee needed!)!  Great game R!!

These are the days...

Summer vacation has started for these two!  A picnic lunch, in swimsuits...

 and an afternoon running around in your swimsuit(a cowgirl hat too:)...

and, of course, ice cream too...

Remember the days when you could spend the day in your swimsuit, playing outside without a care in the world?  I miss those days, now I wouldn't dare scare my neighbors with that site;)!

R's School Field Trip

I had two silly girls in my Zoo Field Trip group!  It was a great day weather wise for the zoo and I was happy to spend it with these two girls...
