Many of you know we have been talking a lot lately about getting a puppy. We started with our first pet, fish, at Easter. The kids have done great with them(okay, I know they aren't hard to take care of, but we haven't had to flush any to fish burial so that is success). A puppy or bunny were the next talked about pets here. With Kb, Kg and my allergies we need a hypoallergenic dog. This is a huge undertaking to find a breed that will not only work with the allergies, but also fit in our lifestyle. We live in a suburban area and have a fenced in yard. A dog that needs acres to wander won't like it here. We need a dog that could live happily in our house and not feel confined. At the same time we need a dog that is big enough that our kids won't love it to much and break it(they are loving kids and will want to hug and kiss the puppy a lot...a dog that gets to 5lbs at full size won't do well with that attention). Well, you all know I am a pushover and was easily swayed. Dh was a little harder to convince, but who can't love a puppy like this...

After many discussions amongst our family of 5, lots of internet research, listening to pros and cons from family and friends we have made a decision. As long as Kb and Kg are not allergic(we go in August to meet a dog of the same breed/genetics as these puppies) we will be the proud and happy new family of one of the pictured puppies on Labor Day weekend!!! They are the most adorable GoldenDoodle puppies, aren't they?!
