Kb's First Flag Football Practice

Kb had his first flag football practice and he did great!

We were talking about flag football all week and how it is not like regular football..aka no tackling.  Kb seemed to understand and was excited.  I was really hoping he would like it because he needs and deserves an activity that is just his.  He shares so many activities with Kg, being that they are twins that is hard to avoid.  

Here is the start of what we hope is a fun season of flag football for Kb!

Back to School Pedicures

The girls and I went for back to school pedicures!  The girls are very relaxed;)...

C's Football Game

C was playing football against our hometown high school so we went to watch his game!  It was a great game and we were happy to see C and his teammates win the game!

Dirty Girl Run

Well, I had a first this weekend.  First 5K..well not a traditional 5K.  It was a blast and a lot easier than I expected it to be.  I am definately signing up again next year if anyone else wants to join us:)

Saying Goodbye

Most people are excited to get a new car.  New car smell, clean carpets and seats are all appealing, but I'm going to miss this Yukon!  We bought it when I was on bedrest with Kb and Kg.  We have had it 6 years this month.  Six years and 130,000+ miles = this car has been good to us.  Now the reality of recent visits to the shop for this repair or that along with the creeping milage have made us decide to say goodbye:(

Tomorrow after I've driven a new vehicle with the new car smell and all the new conveniences cars come with six years after buying our last one may appeal to me, but today I'm a little sad to part with this one.

Homemade Lemonade

I think I need to find a truck load sale on lemons because the kids are enjoying making lemonade!  I don't know if it is the actual process of making it or the end product that they like more...
