2010 Year In Review

2010 was a great year for our family! We had a lot of fun adventures and accomplishments for all. We are looking forward to what 2011 holds for our family, but to end 2010 I have picked a few of my favorite things of 2010....

January
Kb & Kg started preschool and R lost her first tooth !


February
Dh and I took a mini-vacation to Las Vegas for work. The kids enjoyed the snow and the heat wave.


March
We went to Disney World!!!


April
The kids got their new bikes. Dh and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary!


May
We opened the camper for 2010 and Mother's Day. R played soccer and t-ball and said goodbye to preschool!


June
Gymnastics ended for the year, Father's Day and R turned six!


July
4th of July Celebration!


August
R learned to ride a bike on two wheels and we decided to get a puppy!


September
PreSchool Day #1 for Kb & Kg, Kindergarten Day #1 for R and Izzy comes home!


October
Mommy had a birthday along with Kb & Kg!


November
Thanksgiving and The Polar Express!


December
25 Days of Christmas and Barney, our elf. Reindeer Zoo School for Kb & Kg, Happy Birthday Daddy and Disney Live!

New Years Eve!

Last year we decided to start a new New Years Eve tradition...to go bowling! The kids love bowling and had a blast today...

After bowling we went for a late lunch at Gino's Pizza in Lake Geneva(their orders are so big it became lunch and dinner)!

To celebrate the new year we had a yummy french silk pie...

and special soda....

We also set aside a bottle of Sparkling Spumante to toast the new year when we watch the ball drop tomorrow(midnight is just to late for the kiddos to hang in there;)

Winter Break

We have had a busy winter break! We still have a few more days of fun to be had, but we took some time to relax at home and play board games today. It was a nice break from the busy hussle we have had this week! It was also nice that Santa brought a couple games that all three kids can enjoy together...

Ice Skating

Papa and Uncle D put an ice skating rink in at Grandma & Papa's house! We tried it out...

It was the first time all three kids were ever on ice skates! They needed some help at first...

There was sonme falling...

Molly put on her ice skates(thank you Uncle D and Auntie L, R is so happy Molly has skates too!)...

Then they all got the hang of it!

If it would stop raining we could get out and try again!

Discovery World

Dh took off of work on Monday so we decided it was a good day to go to the Discovery World Museum in Milwaukee! This is one of my favorite memberships to purchase every year. We always buy it for half price, $37.50, on the half price deal sites(it is on sale at various times throughout the year).

We always start in the 'water' side as we call it...

Kg was soaked...I didn't realize someone could get so wet by putting their hand in the water!

R and Kb stuck with just putting their fingers in!

Apparently the best way to see the fish underneath is to sprawl out on the ground. Good thing the museum wasn't very busy!

R did pretty well driving the car!

My camera battery died after this so no more pictures of the 'science' side of the museum:(

Papa's Family Christmas

For Papa's family Christmas Papa's sister and brother in law hosted Christmas at a local hotel! It was a great idea and the kids had a blast swimming in the pool...

It was nice to visit with everyone, I just wish we had more time to do so. The kids kept us in the pool area for most of the party! Thank you for hosting Mommy's Uncle N and Aunt R!

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas! Santa was very generous and gave the kids wonderful gifts... a huge horse, exactly what Kg asked Santa for!

A Buzz(thank you Auntie M & Uncle J:) and a balance board(not on any lists, but a great toy)!

R wanted her own 'school'!

The kids have been having a lot of fun with this styling chair. Santa said he saw it on sale and thought the kids would like it(they love it!)...

Dh is corrupting Kb already! They are watching Star Wars on Christmas...

Christmas afternoon we went to Grandma & Papa's house to celebrate!
Grandma gave the kids airplanes and they had a blast flying them off the upstairs landing...

Even Molly went for a ride(R was so excited to get Molly for Christmas from Grandma & Papa!)...

Uncle D took a little punishment in a wrestling match(he even took Auntie L down!)...

We had a wonderful Christmas season and are very thankful for our wonderful families we were able to spend time with!!
