Letter/Word Writing

Summer learning has to be fun and different here or the kids get bored!  To work on writing I put up big pieces of paper on the fence and we played 'mystery letter/word'.  I would make a letter sound.  Kb and Kg would have to guess the letter and write it.  R would have to guess the letter and write the letter and a word that that letter starts with.  Very fun...next is paint;)

Girl Scout Camp with R

R went on her first overnight to Girl Scout camp!  It was a lot of fun, here are a few pictures of R and her friends...

Friday night we sang a lot of cute songs, had snow cones, did a dance and took a night nature walk.  No s'more roasting due to the fire ban...

Neighborhood...

I'm asked once in a while why we live in the city and not the country(where I grew up) and I discovered another reason why.  My kids can leave their scooters and bikes parked in the cul du sac like it is a parking lot(I try to discourage, but sometimes don't even realize).  Knowone would think of running them over or stealing them...even if we forget the scooters for a few hours.

Vision Graduation

R graduated from Vision Therapy!!!!!!!  We are all so excited she has graduated!  10 months of therapy(one month of light therapy and nine months of vision therapy), weekly sessions in Brookfield along with homework five days a week.  A long and hard ten months for R, but she did it and finished strong!  They had a Graduation Presentation for her at the end of her final therapy session.  Her doctor said how hard she worked in her sessions and at home and everyone clapped for her, it was sweet.  We are so proud of you, R!!

R & Kg's Dance Recital

The girls had their dance recital on Saturday and Sunday.  They looked beautiful and danced their hearts out!

 We have the best family!  Look at everyone who came out to watch the girls dance!
